Description
It seems that no matter how well Louise behaves someone else is chosen to be "Prime Time Kid". In her determination to be number one at something Louise focuses her attention on Field Day and the sack race, but things don't go as planned. Instead Louise discovers that there are things more important than being in first place.
The dialog and plot are so real that you can easily imagine the central character of Louise solving, or attempting to solve, the problems she encounters in her quest to get her own Prime Time Kid award. From the first paragraph, I was hooked!
