Description

Grayson County, Virginia, was formed in 1792 from portions of Patrick and Wythe Counties, and is located near the convergence of the North Carolina and Tennessee borders. The principal families addressed in this volume include: Anderson, Asbury, Blair, Bourne, Bryan, Canute, Carico, Coltrane, Cooley, Cornett, Cox, Davis, Dickey, Dickinson, Dow, Early, Felts, Fulton, Garland, Garrison, Goodykoontz, Gwyn, Hale, Hanks, Hash, Isom, Johnston, Jones, Kenny, Kyle, La Rowe, Lenoir, Lundy, McCamant, McMillan, Moore, Nuckolls, Oglesby, Osborne, Pendleton, Perkins, Phipps, Phlegar, Piper, Pugh, Reeves, Scott, Sheffy, Smith, Swift, Thomas, Vaughn, Ward, Waugh, Worrell, Young.
