Description
'Pieces' is a sequel to 'A Call', the author's first collection of poems. Building on the metaphors of decaying virtues, greed, deceit and corruption, love versus hate, hope versus loss, the author intends to once again, make a call to you, to pay attention to the 'pieces' around you that need urgent fixing. The broken virtues that have ripped the thread in the once fine 'societal wrapper' are floating. It is upon us to re-thread the pieces and restore their beauty. Hence, "Pieces" has been used in different perspectives to examine intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships vis-Ã -vis their rippling effect on the global societal web. Hopefully, on the other lane of pieces, lies a blossoming path paved with integrity, love, unity and peace.
