He turned to his wife Shirley one day, and said, "I want to be a cop!" He felt he couldn't live with himself otherwise. He wanted to help people. He wanted to serve.
Ken did serve, but ONE EVENT CHANGED HIS LIFE FOREVER....
"What's going on here?" asked Ken.
"Nuts to you, copper. You ain't goin' to take me in!" one man answered.
"We aren't making an arrest," Ken said. "We simply want to know what's going on."
Suddenly, the man in the middle, Washington, hauled off and hit Ken.
"It's a set up!" Ken thought.
A short time later, one man is dead, three men are severely injured, and many lives are changed forever.
