The book focuses on the examination of the greatest event in history: the globalization pushed to the extreme by the continuous progress of the forms of communication, including virtualization, among other factors that have led the civilization almost to overcome the forms of space and time, a limit which, in addition to knowledge, has started to constitute the fundamental conditioning of the organization and human behavior. This new world has become incompatible with the concepts, the rules, and processes that ordered the world in the past, the incompatibility which, if not reversed, will lead the process to some form of breakdown. Therefore, it is important to know that the path to the new society is an irreversible path and it concerns the survival of civilization and the future of the human race. The book is an invitation to those who are, or will be, dedicated to the analysis of this process, of people or institutions so that they can join those who believe that only through science and technology, they will we be able to save the world from the break-up of civilization, that is to say, the advent of a participatory and supportive civilization can contribute to the safeguard and sustainability of the mankind.
