He is soon faced with a career ending move when he becomes involved in a fight against a local cattle rancher suspected of land grabbing by means of murder and burning folks out. A whole cast of interesting people arrive in town on the morning stage, including the new owners of the town's brothel. When the marshal is designated to be a tour guide for a Supreme Court Justice's wife and then the relationship turns romantic, this spells more trouble for Marshal Creek than he can handle.
