Without warning, the building suddenly collapses. The story is national news and it is hard to imagine how the church can recover from such a disaster. But once again, the God who can confront total wreckage and miraculously bring restoration out of ruin, intervenes.

Stephen Derbyshire is Lead Pastor of City Gates church, Ilford. His passion is to see the local church grow and become influential, impacting the community with the good news of Jesus and bringing hope and transformation to people's lives. He is married to Julia and they have three adult children. Steve loves running marathons and spending time with his grandchildren.
