In 1540 Francsico Coronado discovered the Grand Canyon, and congress declared Grand Canyon Preserve a National Park in 1919. The Grand Canyon is a vacation spot you will never forget. Look closely, and you might see a deer, or an elk, or even a California condor! The scenery is ever changing, as much as it is the same. In winter there is snow and in the spring there are wildflowers! You can take a donkey down into the canyon and back, camp out and hike or just stay in the world class El Tovar hotel and order room service!
