Who knoweth not in all thefi, that the hand of the Lord hath wrought thtr? Job xii. 7, 8, 9. Moreover it hath pleafed him to inflamp upon the confciences of men, fuch deep im prefiions of his being and glory, that all the powers and fubtilty of hell, {hall never be able to eradicate them: Though, alas! Through a culiom of fin, and efpecially againfi much light and convielion, the com fciences of many aredebauched in thele dregs of time, to an obliterating of thele imprefiions, which otherwife would have been firong and vivid.
