Description
This book is the result of a Course Conclusion Work in Geography and brings an analysis of the National Conferences on the Promotion of LGBTQIA+ Citizenship held in 2008, 2011 and 2016. This study sought to put into perspective the changes that took place in the proposals approved at these conferences, with the purpose of understanding how Brazilian public policies focused on the LGBTQIA+ community are structured. This work is based on the intersection of citizenship, geography, the LGBTQIA+ community and human rights, thus enabling the paving and construction of a path that sees the existing deficiencies in these proposals, being a contribution to the solution of problems that the LGBTQIA+ community encounters in having their citizenship guaranteed.
