His search took him to the beautiful sylvan villages of Clayhanger, Petton, Morebath, Skilgate, Raddington and Chipstaple and Upton in the foothills of Exmoor on the Devon and Somerset border. They are places he had never heard of and would never have visited if it had not been for the fact he was bitten by the family tree bug!
