This is Part 2 of the first English translation of Musica mechanica organoedi, published in Berlin in 1768. The German text and its English translation are presented on facing pages. Part 2 includes all of "Volume Two" of the original edition. Jacob Adlung (1699-1762) was a musician and scholar and organist at the Predigerkirche in Erfurt. His work focuses primarily on the organ, from the perspective of the information an organist might need to know about the instrument, including building, maintenance, tuning, repair, definitions of hundreds of organ stops, and stoplists of hundreds of central European organs of the 18th century. This is Part 2 of a three-part edition.
