Description
Jack Riley's second novel deals with the Mob infiltrating the music and movie industry in 1942, as it tries to keep its fingers in the inner workings of singers, studios, film stars and various other areas of money making. Donnie Heaven is one such song writer but also a singer, who is like Sinatra during the early War Years. One of the Families sees that he could be one of those avenues for legitimate cash flow and looks to keep him under contract. A couple of murders places Jack and the LAPD on a hunt for the responsible parties.
