Description
The objective of this work was to apply an action plan for the motivation towards the habit of reading in adolescents of the 3rd year of the Bolivarian High School "José Félix Ribas", from La FrÃa, GarcÃa de Hevia Municipality, Táchira State. The nature of the research was field, descriptive, under the development of an application project. The research subjects were thirty third-year students, section "C" of Basic Education of the referred institution. The technique used was the survey, for which a questionnaire was applied as an instrument, with five response categories: Always, Almost Always, Sometimes, Almost Never, Never, it was subjected to the validation of the judgment of two experts . Reliability was not evidenced because a finite population was managed, in turn due to the absence of a pilot test. Regarding the data processing, the descriptive statistics technique was used based on the simple frequency and percentages of the results obtained. In addition, the author concluded that the causes that generate the lack of motivation towards the habit of reading.
