This is probably the RAREST of all the volumes done by the Goodspeed Publishing Co. on any of the states they compiled book on. This volume is similar to their other volumes in that it first gives a history of the state from earliest times; is followed by county histories included in the volume; and the Biographical sketches of individuals. This volume contains approximately 925 Biographical sketches with genealogical data on some 3,600 other families / individuals, with many of the families being carried well back into the mid 1700's.
