Description

This research aims mainly at mapping the cultural dimensions between the Palestinian students in the West Bank and Gaza Strip by representing how each part defines and perceives the second part. The research uses the cultural values according to Hofstede's cultural dimensions theory in order to identify the variance among the study populations and highlighting the Palestinian view of the unification between the West Bank and Gaza StripTo achieve this aim, the researcher uses an online, cross-sectional, and survey technique that is highly influenced by Hofstede's theory for Cross-Cultural Communication. The process of mapping uses the five cultural dimensions of Hofstede's cultural theory, which are: Power Distance Index (PDI), Individualism (IDV), Masculinity (MAS), Uncertainty Avoidance Index (UAI) and Long-term Orientation. The survey results of the Hofstede's cultural dimensions have shown that the separation between the two geographic regions does not affect the cultural values of the Palestinian students in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the geographical separation has affected the communication between two groups in two different geographical areas
