Connie is retired after fifty years working in medicine, the last eighteen years as a Physician Assistant in rural Kansas and Oklahoma. Connie has always enjoyed writing, but this is her first experience with publishing. This book began as a 500-word short story which won first place in a monthly photo contest in the Kansas Authors Club, District 5, (see photo below).
