Limnology is the study of inland waters - lakes, reservoirs, rivers, streams, wetlands and groundwater. Limnological studies have great significance today. A limnological study of Tighra Reservoir, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh was carried out. The study included both physico-chemical analysis as well as biological studies of the reservoir. Such studies not only enable us to understand a water body but also help in better utilization of it. This book is an outcome of such a study. The whole study has been presented in the form of seven chapters along with references. The book will be very useful for academicians, researchers and students, working in the fields of limnology and environmental sciences.
