Description

We all had those moments - "How am I supposed to find good in this situation, God?" It can be a cancer diagnosis, losing a job or just trying to maneuver through the bumps in the road of life. How do you focus more on being thankful in the trials, instead of complaining? Author Michelle Calhoun gives readers advice in her new nonfiction book, Let Us Always Give Thanks, gained from experiences in her personal relationship with God. Michelle saw the benefits of godly lessons offered by others through their personal experiences, but she sees that a person has to witness God working in his own life to know how to endure the struggles in his path. She recalls several instances in her life, from a breast cancer diagnosis to being a single mother, as ways that God manifested Himself in her life and brought her into a sense of thankfulness. Once a person sees the blessings bestowed upon him, it will be easier to trust God with the plan for his life and pray earnestly for whatever challenges are on the horizon. We must trust and thank God, despite any situation we face. Thank Him for all that He has already done and trust Him for what we know He can and will do. Then we must also thank Him for our current situation, because things could always be different or worse. Author Bio: Michelle Calhoun currently attends church and resides in Michigan with her most cherished and beloved daughter, Micayla. She is a graduate of Spelman College (Atlanta, GA) and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (Lansing, MI). She is a licensed physician, board certified in the specialty of internal medicine.
