Description
Lemons to Roses is a compilation of poetry, thoughts, and musings that have developed over several months and, in some cases, years of tranquil moments. It chronicles the faithfulness of God to come through for us, in His own inimitable way. I am excited about putting them in print to share with others, with the hope that the contents of this book will bring you great encouragement and comfort, as well as provoking readers to trust in the Lord in the midst of difficult situations. For more than forty-five years I have been actively involved in various church and community activities. I wrote newsletter articles, prepared detailed minutes, wrote course curricula and speeches, and drafted process documents. I consider myself a change agent, who must make my environment a better place because I have been there. After just over forty years of working as an educator and in several exciting administrative roles in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, I had to retire because of illness. I know now that God had already worked everything out for me, and looking back, I have absolutely no regrets.
