Description
Jozef Banás eloquently radiates his talents as a Slovak novelist, journalist, diplomat, and politician in this non-fiction novel. Jubilation Zone is a dramatic tale of trusted and non-trusted friendships and deeply rooted human love that occurred during critical years in Central European history (1968-2008).
In essence, the book captures a time in history that so many know about only from a superficial level. The contrast that is presented between Central Europe and the Soviet Union leaves the reader to both question and almost despise the corruption and evils of communism that could not even provide people with such basic things as housing, food, and transportation.
It is no wonder that Jubilation Zone is the most translated Slovak literary work and that one out of every eight Slovak homes has a copy of the book in their home!
Simply put, it is a must read!
