Therefore, the aim of this book is to analyze the main conjunctural and structural factors of informality observed in the national labor market in the period between 1980 and 2012, presenting the dimension of this problem and exposing its economic and institutional roots, seeking to contribute new elements to the debate on informality at a national level.
