This monograph exposes some perspectives on the New Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, in which its potentialities, challenges and difficulties for its greater propagation in Brazil are investigated. Finally, this monograph evaluates the expectations and challenges, in the view of companies in Brazil and worldwide, concerning this new stage of industrial production. The work elucidates that there are a range of benefits to be gained from incorporating the New Industrial Revolution in Brazil, however, there are also major challenges to be overcome for its greater diffusion.
