Description
The research describes the incidence of the Covid-19 pandemic in the development of educational activities in the Mbya Guaranàcommunity of Pastoreo, district of Obligado - Itapúa. The research approach is qualitative. For data collection, key informants who could provide accurate information on the process of development of educational activities during the pandemic were used. The sample consisted of a supervisor, principal and teacher. "The role of the MEC should be to support Indigenous peoples to strengthen and revitalize their culture" (Gaska, 2020, p. 271), in the community classes are taught twice a week. The plans presented in the platform, "Your school at home", were not very relevant and the key informants agreed that with this modality there is little learning, considering that they need the help of the educator, since most of their parents do not know how to read or write. The teaching and learning strategies in pandemic were based on daily planning and before it, they frequently presented individual and group work. Evaluation was process-based.
