In this book we have given a beautiful fact based compilation to show that, how various sources of water being adversely impacted with various types of industries. The water sources include Surface, Ground, River and Canal. We have analyzed them through 15-22 parameters. The study area is the best representative of Indian scenario with a Global touch as it is a port area where River Mahanadi is life line of Odisha meets Bay of Bengal on the other hand within the study area both Urbanization and Rural life is present. It caters the need of all the class of people.
The findings of the more than thousand experiments with samples of various sources on various time phase of the year like winter, summer, monsoon and post-monsoon; probably the best representative result for any policy maker or researcher to take forward his /her work. For a common man it narrates in a simplified manner what is water quality and how we are contributing to disturb it knowingly or unknowingly.
At the end we would like to say it is need of the time to take the most precious natural resource WATER seriously.
