Description

In this absorbing book, TJ Wicker helps ground our understanding of the extraordinary 37 year history of the neurological and psychiatric comorbidities that couple with HIV, and antiretroviral therapy (ART), especially for "long-term" survivors. The content is based over three decades of research taken from medical journals, articles and previous medical books that cover this global pandemic.

Quitting school at fifteen, TJ never imagined going back to school at 48 and obtaining on BSc in Public Service Administration & Policy from Kaplan University and graduated Cum Laude, then decided to take two years off and again returned to complete his MSc in Healthcare Administration from Purdue University. He is also a current member of both The International Golden Key Honour Society, and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

TJ identifies the gaps, weaknesses, controversies, and/or problems in the theories, the anatomy, etiology, physiology, and pathophysiology of the disease.

"The pandemic of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) disease is currently the most important public health event in recent history, with epic proportions that has political, social, economic, and cultural implications far beyond its medical significance."
