“We have written this guide in response to people asking for a more detailed resource as they begin to lead their first few Huddles. In the past we have been leery about putting out such a resource, as it might convey that there is a magic formula to leading a Huddle. So let us say from the outset that there isn’t.
However, we also think it is helpful to provide a basic framework for the first year of a Huddle, while writing the guide in such a way that teaches people how to find freedom within that framework. This is another way of saying that we want each Huddle leader to discern the best way forward for their Huddle. Each Huddle, each leader, and each participant is different. We have never seen a Huddle look like any other Huddles we’ve led, and yet there are also similarities in every Huddle based on the values, principles, and practices we encourage in every Huddle.
Our one caveat is that this guide cannot compensate for you not having been in a Huddle where you were the participant. It is truly important that you be in a Huddle before leading one...
