Groundwater also has an important role in the environment: it replenishes streams, rivers, and wetlands and helps to support wildlife habitat; it is used as primary source of drinking water and also in agricultural and industrial activities. Keeping these things in mind and starting the study are from home ground the groundwater quality of various regions of Kachchh district were analyzed. In this primary studies, various physicochemical parameters were analyzed which can be helpful in various studies related future perspective for the betterment of ground water. Specially, in treatment of higher iron content and to reduce salinity of this particular arid region of gujarat.
