In a career spanning over 30 years, Zappa composed rock, pop, jazz, jazz fusion, orchestral and musique concrète works, producing almost all of the 60-plus L.Ps that he released with his group the Mothers of Invention and as a solo artist. Frank directed feature-length movies and music videos, having also designed album covers, being regarded as one of the most innovative and stylistically diverse rock musicians of his era.
