The same year he was listed as a PhD candidate in Visual Arts History in the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan. He lectured for seven years in the University of Lagos, in the Department of Creative Arts. Presently, he is the Curator and Head of Station, National Gallery of Art, Port Harcourt.
