Married couple Gina and Stanley, a pair of Space Corps superfans, decide that in order to keep Bruce from doing further damage to the series they adore they must kidnap him and lock him in their basement until someone else can take over the franchise and return it to glory. What they did not anticipate was that Bruce would end up living in their basement for nine long years, throwing the lives of the couple and their son into disarray. Over the course of those nine years one question arises time and again: who rightfully claims ownership to a work of art, the artist who created it or the fans who love it?
