Despite the warning that time travel was the undoing of the Ancients who had once ruled his sector of space. But the Ancients are not extinct, and they will do whatever they can to prevent the humans from disrupting the time stream and destroying their own race. Even if it means destroying the one weapon the humans have that might win their war of extermination against the Ca'cadasan Empire.
