It shows the development of his thoughts and feelings as he has dealt with various topics, including: faith; marriage, divorce and fatherhood; his combat-related PTSD; and his spiritual progress through these and other experiences. He hopes these works can show others that they are not alone, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The son of an Air Force officer and a nurse, Ken grew up all over the world, graduating from the Air Force Academy in 1970. After two tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict, Ken received a disability retirement and now lives in the Washington DC area with his wife and their six fabled felines.
