The Armenian language has its own unique alphabet which consists of 39 letters. The characters are similiar to Hebrew and was invented by Mesrop Mashtots in 405 AD, At first glance it seems quite complex compared to Latin, but unlike English and many other languages, the spelling of Armenian is quite phonetic, so once you know the pronunciation of each letter, reading should not be a problem.
We have also included a transliteration of the Armenian words in the Latin alphabet to make it easier for English and French readers.
