Inspired by a vacation to Spain taken the year before its composition, Espana is a superb example of the Spanish-genre showpiece - featuring driving rhythms, brilliant orchestral colors and folk-derived melodies.

This new score is a reduced-sized reissue of the newly-engraved, thoroughly researched and corrected edition prepared by Clinton F. Nieweg and Nancy M. Bradburd in 2008 for the now-defunct publisher E.F. Kalmus. The matching full score and orchestra parts are also available from Serenissima Music, the only authorized publisher for the Nieweg editions.
