Although having never met before they must discover a way to combine their psi powers to achieve their goal to ferret out and terminate any attempts to harm the Guild or its members. Aaron and Alice receive guidance from the angel Barbara, who has been silent for over 200 years. She informs the new agents that they must mate to enhance their ESP powers before disappearing again. However, the angel Barbara continues to appear, as she is needed. The agents embark on their new task, learning how to function as a team when they encounter enemies of the Healing Guild.
