The deputies responded to a call from a woman who reported her 81-year-old mother as missing after her mother did not return from her daily walk. The deputies searched the nearby heavily wooded area. When they found the mother, she asked if the deputies were out taking a walk also. When they quietly replied, "Yes," she seemed relieved and told them she had lost her way. "No problem," said Officer Morrison who gently took her hand. He and Sgt. Black walked her back to her house, making small talk and enjoying each other's company along the way. When asked what the key to a long, healthy life was, the woman replied, "Eat good and stay active."
