About the Author
Author Debra J. Morris was born in Weimer, Texas. She then grew up in San Antonio where she attended elementary school, middle school, and Fox Tech High School. She also lived in Houston with her father. She then had the opportunity to move to New Orleans, Louisiana, and Belle Chase, Louisiana, where she got married, raised her children, and became a grandmother. While in New Orleans, Morris attended the House Ruth Learning Center to learn more about computers. After Hurricane Katrina, Morris and her husband moved to Tyler, Texas, where their granddaughter resides.
Having been raised in the country, Morris loves watching animals. Her other hobbies include collecting art, books, and antiques, and she enjoys observing the ways how people are unique and different.
