Counties from which these papers came from: Pike County Missouri;Cooper County Missouri;Howard County Missouri;Chariton County Missouri;Lewis County Missouri;Boone County;Missouri;Marion County Missouri;Clay County Missouri;Callaway County Missouri;Jackson County Missouri;Cape Girardeau County Missouri;Cole County Missouri;Lafayette County Missouri;St. Clair County Missouri;Platte County Missouri;Andrew County Missouri;Greene County Missouri;Buchanan County Missouri;Benton County Missouri;Grundy County Missouri. Some are familiar - Daniel Boone, Alexander McNair - but most were average citizens.
