Description
Did Bush and Cheney have advance warning of the 9/11 terrorist attacks? The Midwest reporters' assignment seemed simple enough: Go to the District of Columbia and find the evidence. For journalism professor Wilson, their assignment meant a second chance at the Pulitzer that had eluded him for more than 30 years. And having to share a hotel room with two young female reporters was a dream come true. The dream turned into a nightmare for Caitlin, the young Iranian-American reporter, when her love for the professor went unrequited. He'd rather have sex with their other roommate. And she was more than willing to have sex with him or with anyone she interviewed, male or female. When the investigation stalled, the newspaper sent two Arab-American reporters to help them. But the two groups of reporters didn't trust one another; the Arabs wouldn't even talk with Caitlin. Though witness after witness corroborates the tale of a conspiracy involving the Vice-President and members of the Saudi royal family, the reporters are ready to quit when two of their more helpful witnesses die in "accidents" and the FBI takes the professor in for questioning.
