Fred Cogswell, University of New Brunswick Joan Kehoe immigrated to Canada from the north of England as a young child in 1948. She has lived ever since in Scarborough, Ontario. She is retired from a long, fulfilling career as a teacher and consultant for kindergarten. Joan has been writing poetry all her adult life. Her work has appeared in numerous anthologies and magazines and has received three awards. A lifelong singer, Joan presently sings soprano with the Serenata Singers and Scarborough Choral Society. Her late husband, David, always encouraged her writing. Joan finds great joy with her daughter and two sons and their families. She is an adoring grandmother to three amazing children.
