When my ol' buddy Jim told me he was going to write a book about some stuff that happened to us last fall, I have to tell you that it was hard to stop laughing. I mean, we all know that Preach (Jim, that is; he preaches some) can write a little, but a book? Who's going to read it? I said. You looked at any books lately? I said. They're all about sex and violence and money. You don't know nothing about any of them, and you wouldn't write about them if you did.
So now I've read the book, most of it anyway, and I'm not so sure. The boy has kind of surprised me. I mean, there's no violence in here at all, because there wasn't any, but there's some money and even a little sex - but just a little, mind you. Hey, like they say, it's all good.
So I don't know what to tell you. One thing is for sure. I didn't know he had it in him. Go see for yourself. Maybe there's hope for the boy yet.
