In that time, the disease had gone untreated, and as a result of this, her mother’s life hangs in the balance. Her mother battles the disease for about a year, and after being in and out of hospitals and being subjected to a battery of tests, the doctors find themselves at a loss insofar as their treatment of her goes. As a result, they end up misdiagnosing her condition. The young woman and her common-law husband then take it upon themselves to try and save her life.
Their story is touching, real, and inspiring. It is filled with highs and lows, victories and defeats. The characters’ strength, determination, and conviction to triumph against all odds will capture your heart and make you believe in the impossible.
