'Between us' is an account of my reveries that has passed through my mind over the time. These poems written over a few years are largely confessional in nature. There are also a few which are inspired out of random people who came through with or without permission. The inspirations were also from incidents that changed my world view. Writing is therapeutic for me as it is to so many others. Though the process of writing is painful, the end result is a sense of relief. Like many have compared it with the process of child birth, I vouch exactly for the same metaphor. Nothing explains it better. 'Between us' is an affair between you and I as much as it is between I and the people in my life. This is a secret shared.
