Since writing two previous joke books several persons have asked me to create some new jokes. There was some reluctance about providing new material as I have seen my work being used at Comedy shows and in plays without any recognition of me being the creator/author. It is frustrating to attend a show, see your work being performed with the performers being paid, and you the author of the work not receiving any monetary benefit. After much consideration and in the interest of making a sad face smile or a bored person laugh I decided to proceed. However, I have planned to police, taped recordings put out by artistes and where there is an infringement of my copyright, I will be using all legal options available to me, to seek compensation and if possible exemplary damages. As a reader I urge you to respect my creativity and enjoy the laughs provided. I know you will be tempted but please do me the favour of not putting these jokes in e-mails and sending them on the Internet.
