Mine is not the only voice in the world

There are many some loud some not

Some of what I do may be a little clunky or repetitive

And there may be those who may not like my perspective

Yet if you can speak do so when you feel the need

The world is in a bad state

Some people keep trying

Yet a serious problem exists

And that is the way many

Including our leaders and many politicians

Defer us from what really matters

I will not compile a list here

Except to say there is much conflict and war in the world

And it is discernible that without my being personal

Or believing in conspiracies

I know many in power divert our thought from the issues of today

Those of the disastrous global warming and climate change

As well as the poverty of so many nations and people in this world

They talk up other matters

Finding enemies here there and everywhere

So we the people face up to that

Instead of what we need to do:

Help save the planet

Governments still run economics in terms of growth

Growth of goods and services

And growth of population

While what we need is the sustaining of the world

Something requiring a much more realistic approach

To what we have thought and done

Save the world

Save the people on it

And let the animals have space and life

So we can live alongside them
