I think this is the inspiration for the title poem."The book is witty and light hearted, but also angry, sarcastic, vulnerable, and even self-deprecating. Some of the topics include love, loss, world events, identity crises, isolation, and acceptance.Growing up in southern Wisconsin, Ryan was inspired by music and poetry at an early age, writing his first poem in 1991 for a creative writing class in high school.He has since gone on to write and publish 10 poetry books.
