Description
In the Spring of 2005, at the age of 57, Ron was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma - cancer. In the Spring of 2010 he was again diagnosed - for a fourth time - despite extreme treatment of a stem cell transplant in January 2009. Ron has used his experiences of his first treatment as a backcloth to a storyline of a bomb threat to the Bath International Festival. There are flashes of humour, fear, anxiety, hope and social comment throughout. The book is a token of appreciation to all those involved in cancer care, in all its stages. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Cancer Research UK and the Lymphoma Association.
