I have obtained a Bachelor' of Science in Psychology from Troy University with honors Cum Laude. I am a Licensed, Practical Nurse. I have written two other books, Strawberries Before Sunrise and Old-Fashioned Recipes.
Africa's Golden Kingdom tells a story of intrigue and conspiracy. This story is set in the fifteenth century in Sama, Obasi, a country in West Africa; the trade routes are called the Gold Coast. It starts with a powerful king changing centuries of ancestral law so that his bloodline can continue to rule the throne. Adofo, the King's son, bravely celebrates his performance during rites of passage. However, not knowing the actual test of survival and proving his worthiness to become King lurks perilously beyond the horizon. The King's actions put his young noble and charismatic son's life in jeopardy by white slavers, unforeseen, and treacherous forces. A beautiful and high-spirited young Shakima reenters his life and assists the prince in his uncertain future. This novel will appeal to educated adult readers with an interest in African History.
