She has been a schoolteacher, directed a Christian preschool, and is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the East Central Illinois Baptist Association. Dreher has written children's curriculum for the Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Several of her dramas and programs have been published in National Drama Service by LifeWay Christian Resources.
